Participants must make registration regardless of making presentation or not. All presenters must register for both 1) participation and 2) presentation.

  • The JPA members can benefit from registration fee discount. If you are not a member yet, please take this opportunity to become a member of the JPA.

  • The number of oral presentations from a lab is limited to two in total, with only one oral presentation by student per a lab.
  • Before registration, please check the registration form and have all the information necessary for registration ready at hand, as there are many items to register.
C: Please submit your abstract (PDF) via "abstract submission form".

  • The file name must be "Presentation number (one-byte alphabet and numbers). pdf" referring to your presentation number notified by the Secretariat. (Ex.:1A01.pdf, 2P103.pdf, 3S01.pdf)

    Entry to The best presentation Award for Students

    The numbers to be accepted as recommendation

    • The students must be a student member of the JPA if they wish to be recommended for the Best presentation Award for Students.
      *If you are not a member yet, please become a member and pay the annual membership fee before entry to this award.
    • Please choose "make entry to The best presentation Award for Students" on the registration form for presentation.
    • For the entry to The best presentation Award for Students, a letter of recommendation from their supervisors is necessary.
    • The supervisors are advised to confirm that the student is a member of the JPA before issuing a letter of recommendation.
    • Please prepare a PDF file after printing out the letter and sealing on it.
    • In case of too many applicants, the preliminary selection will be carried out on the basis of the abstract as well as a letter of recommendation.

    For new members of the JPA
    The bank account for annual membership fee for the Association is different from the one for the registration of the meeting.
    Please make payment separately.

    Abstract Guidlines

    Notes

    Please submit an electronic version of their Abstract written in English as described below.

    • The Abstract must be prepared with 2 pages in length on A4-size paper with the shorter side on the top, including figure, table and reference.
    • Margin is 25 mm both top and bottom, left and right.
    • Font is preferably Tims (or Times New Roman).
    • The title should be typed with a 14-point font (Bold).
    • The affiliation(s) in parentheses and name of the authors should be typed next and should be separated by an empty line from the title.
    • The text should be typed with a 12-point font and should be separated by an empty line from the author's name.
    • The box on the left of the title must be kept blank. Presentation number will be printed in the space by Secretariat.
    • Abstract must be submitted as PDF files of camera-ready versions. Fonts must be embedded when making a PDF file.
    • abstractID No given by auto reply mail must be used as a file name of the abstract for submission. (i.e., P149xx.pdf )
    • The deadline for submission is July 4 (Friday).
